God invites us to Remember His Promises

Isaiah 43:26
Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified.

In this verse, our Heavenly Father is telling us to remind Him of His promises. At first it may sound as though God needs to be reminded of what He said, but we know that isn’t the case because our Heavenly Father never forgets anything unless He chooses to. This verse is a loving invitation for us to remember His promises and to have a conversation with Him.

It’s as if He is saying: “Take the time to talk with me. Let’s reason together about the promises I have made to you. Show me that you know them, trust them, and are holding onto them.”

When we do this, God promises to justify us, to make things right. He always honors His Word because He is faithful, and He takes joy in seeing His children live by it (Psalm 37:23, 3 John 1:4).

God loves us with an everlasting love and He longs for us to love Him in return. He isn’t interested in ritual or empty words, but rather sincerity from our hearts (Hosea 6:6). True prayer is a personal, heart-to-heart conversation with our Heavenly Father.

This section is here to remind you of God’s promises and to encourage you in His Word. Each day, we’ll look at one of those promises, along with the step of faith or obedience He expects of us. As you meditate on these truths and bring them to Father in prayer, may your relationship with Him grow deeper and your faith in His Word grow stronger.
