Day 1: Everlasting Life

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Condition/Action:

Believe in Jesus Christ as God’s Son and our Savior.

To “believe in Him” is far more than knowing that Jesus exists. The Greek word for believe is pisteuō, and it means to commit and entrust our life to Christ. Saving belief means entrusting our spiritual well-being to Jesus, relying on Him alone for salvation, and choosing to follow His ways.

Encouragement:

This is the greatest promise in all of God’s Word. Eternal life through Christ isn’t earned by being a good enough person or performing enough deeds, it’s received by trusting in Him.

When you stumble and feel unworthy, remember this: Father’s love is greater than your failures. Jesus sacrificed His life and shed His blood on the cross so you could be forgiven when you repent. Eternal life is a free gift from God to all who believe and place their faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
